Refunds & cancellations

This policy applies to consulting engagements offered by Data Analytics Hub — including Product Engagement Audits, Event Taxonomy Reviews, Reporting Narrative Workshops, Retention Signal Assessments, and related day-rate coaching. It does not cover software subscriptions, physical goods, or marketplace products because we do not sell those.
Eligibility
Refunds are available when we cancel an engagement, when a deposit is unused because we decline the work after scoping, or when written terms in your statement of work grant a specific refund right. Change of mind after kickoff materials have been reviewed is handled as a partial refund or credit as described below.
Deposits
Audits and multi-week assessments typically require a 40% deposit to reserve calendar time. Workshops require a 50% deposit. Deposits are applied to the final invoice.
Timeframe for requests
Request cancellations or refunds in writing to info@dataanalyticshub.digital at least five business days before a scheduled workshop, or before the agreed kickoff date for audits and assessments. Later requests are reviewed case by case.
Full and partial refunds
- Full refund of deposit if we cancel, or if you cancel five or more business days before kickoff and no preparatory review of your materials has begun.
- Partial refund (50% of deposit) if you cancel fewer than five business days before kickoff, or after we have begun reviewing your prep packet but before substantive interviews.
- No deposit refund once stakeholder interviews or workshop facilitation have started, except where we fail to deliver the agreed readout or session without a mutually agreed substitute date.
Work already started
Hours already delivered are invoiced at the agreed rate and are non-refundable. Unused prepaid day-rate coaching may be rescheduled within 90 days or credited toward another engagement; cash refund of unused coaching days after 90 days is not offered.
Non-refundable items
Third-party travel booked at your request, room rentals for on-site workshops, and specially prepared printed materials ordered for an on-site session are non-refundable once purchased, though we will attempt to cancel free cancellations when you give early notice.
Rescheduling & no-shows
One reschedule of a workshop or readout is allowed without fee if requested three or more business days ahead. Later reschedules or no-shows may forfeit the deposit for that session. Audits may pause by mutual agreement; extended pauses beyond 45 days may require a refreshed scope and fee.
Refund process & method
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval. Bank transfer refunds inside Korea follow the account details you confirm in writing.
